Redcliffe is right in the centre of Bristol. It's almost its own island as it's surrounded by the city’s Floating Harbour on one side and the River Avon on the other. Recent development has seen a rise in the number of high-end restaurants and properties in the area.
Redcliffe was traditionally a commercial and manufacturing area. As a result, available properties tend to be conversions of old warehouses, or new builds.
Being so close to the centre of Bristol means you'll never be stuck for something to do. Local attractions include the SS Great Britain, M Shed, At-Bristol and the Arnolfini art centre. For theatre and live events, there's the Hippodrome and the Colston Hall.
Redcliffe has excellent transport links. Temple Meads station is right on the doorstep with trains all over the country. The A4044, which runs into Redcliffe and subsequently splits as it heads south, is great for getting around and out of Bristol. There's also a ferry to Hotwells for £1.70.
