Renting with Ocean

Looking for the right place to rent is a tricky and sometimes stressful process, especially with the demand for rental accommodation at a record high.

We try to make things as straight forward as possible for tenants, with good communication and support throughout the application process.


The rental market in Bristol can be pretty frenetic, but we're here to help you find what you're looking for as quickly and easily as possible.

If we're managing the property that you decide to rent, we'll be right there with you on the day you move to check you in.

We'll talk you through the inventory and the 'Tenant handbook' we've created specifically for the property, and generally do everything we can to help you start to settle in, and feel at home.

Once you are settled in, we're still there for you if any maintenance issues or emergencies should arise.

You'll have access to our online fixflo system, which allows you to report maintenance issues quickly and accurately. And you'll also have a 24-hour emergency number to call in case of domestic disasters. 

Rental costs for good-quality properties in Bristol are particularly expensive at the moment. So it's essential we're absolutely clear about all the costs and fees associated with your tenancy when you rent through Ocean.

We're also members of the Client Money Protection scheme, that ensures we comply with the strictest codes of practice surrounding holding clients’ money – keeping your deposit safe.
