Bradley Stoke is a new town. Building began in 1987 on a space of 1000 acres, with 9000 homes created and 180 acres dedicated to open, public space.
Its convenience for commuters makes it a popular location. It's a short hop to the M4/M5 interchange and Patchway and Bristol Parkway stations are a mile or so away. There’s also very good public transport available to Southmead Hospital, UWE, The Mall at Cribbs Causeway and Bristol city centre.
A new town centre was opened in 2008. The Willow Brook Centre has an excellent selection of shops, business and cafes, as well as a large supermarket.
Opposite the Willow Brook Centre is a council-run leisure centre and library. There are also a few family-friendly pubs, as well as Indian, Chinese and fish and chip takeaways.
It’s a popular family area with a great selection of schools, a wide variety of modern houses and a good mix of starter homes and flats.
