Stapleton is in the north-eastern suburbs of Bristol, bordering Eastville to the south and Frenchay to the north. It’s a popular residential area as it has easy access to the M32 motorway. It's semi-rural, but only around two miles from central Bristol.
Properties in Stapleton are an eclectic mix from the Victorian, Edwardian, inter-war and late-twentieth century periods. In the ‘90s, a new development with more than 150 houses was built on the site of an old hospital between Bell Hill and the M32.
There's lots of green space, including Begbrook Green Park and Oldbury Court Estate. Stapleton has a small farm shop and a local newsagent, but there's plenty more shopping available nearby at the retail park in nearby Eastville, or in Fishponds.
Stapleton Road train station is only 1.5 miles away and the area is well-serviced by bus routes. The M32 gives easy access to the M4 and M5.
