Our mortgage service is completely free, with no hidden fees or charges. Here's how….

No broker fees

Our mortgage brokers are completely independent, we’re not affiliated with any lender, so we can search the whole mortgage market to find the right deal for you.

The service is totally free, with no hidden fees and we take care of the whole application process for you. Here's the answers to how we can do that for you.

We get paid a commission (introductory payment) by the banks and building societies when you complete your mortgage with them. We do not charge an addition fee to you.

The mortgage provider pays the commission directly to us – there is no cost to you.

No, commission payment is standard practice for all mortgages and does not affect the cost of your mortgage. You would not get a better rate by going to them directly.

The commission varies very little from mortgage to mortgage (typically between .35% and .4% of the total mortgage amount).

We’re completely independent and we promise to advise you based on the best mortgage for you. We will show you a wide range of mortgages and you are free to choose the best one for you.

There are no hidden charges from us. Some mortgages have arrangement fees, we will tell you about these at the start, we don’t receive any money from these charges.

There are a few ways mortgage brokers may charge clients -

  • Fixed charge. A fixed fee, e.g. £499, for mortgage advice.
  • Percentage. A percentage of the mortgage arranged e.g. a £250,000 mortgage, their fee is 1%, £2,500 will be charged.
  • A combination. A combination of the charges mentioned above. They might receive a commission from the lender and charge a fee.
