Portishead is a coastal town on the Severn Estuary, just over the River Avon to the west of Bristol. The town is hugely popular, with tangible pride in the community. Portishead's docks have been re-developed into a beautiful marina with shops, restaurants as well as homes.

Portishead is about ten miles from Bristol centre, and many commute. There are plenty of buses that run to Bristol. Their reinstated train station is muted to be running soon.
A wonderful town and marina
There's a huge variety of property in Portishead. Ranging from modern one-bedroom apartments and townhouses to family homes of all types, even three-bedroom penthouse duplexes to large, elevated Victorian villas.
There's plenty to keep you busy. Parish Wharf Leisure Centre has a swimming pool, gym and badminton courts.

The High Street is independent in the main and vibrant always. The marina is fantastic for a stroll, or to eat and drink.
