Lawrence Weston is a suburb in the north of Bristol, just east of Avonmouth. It was built during the post-war era.
The area was developed from a hamlet in the late ‘40s and early ‘50s, so properties are typical of that time. Houses range from three- to five-bedroom.
Blaise Castle Estate, a lovely area for walking, is on the eastern edge of Lawrence Weston. There are various facilities in the area for young people, including a BMX track and a couple of youth clubs. The central road, Ridingleaze, has plenty of shops for everyday needs.
The Portway offers easy access to central and south Bristol. If you don’t have a car, there's an excellent Park & Ride bus service along the same route.
