Withywood is on the southern border of the city, below Dundry and between Hartcliffe and Bishopsworth. Access is via the Bridgewater Road or Hartcliffe Way. It is a large estate dating from the 1950s.
It's a family area, with some local convenience shops and pubs, and more in neighbouring Bishopsworth.
A big regeneration programme is taking place around the area, with new apartments on Hengrove Way and further development of The Junction shopping complex.
