Western-in-Gordano is a rural area in the middle of the Gordano Valley, on the south bank of the Avon. It is the largest village in the valley.
There are two nearby nature reserves, both owned and managed by the Avon Wildlife Trust.
There are a variety of houses, mainly detached family homes with good-sized gardens, but also modern terraces and period cottages.
Shops and facilities are just a few miles away in Portishead.
