Tockington is a village in South Gloucestershire, in the same parish as the villages of Olveston and Alveston.
It has become an attractive location for commuters, rural but well connected with Bristol due to its proximity to the M5 motorway (J16) and Gloucester Road North (A38). Aztec West Industrial Park is also close by – see Bradley Stoke. It’s a little over ten miles from Bristol city centre.
It's south of Olveston and is located in a steep valley. The village also has the Swan Inn, a popular pub. Tockington Manor is now a boarding school.
Property is mixed. There are wonderful cottages, grand Georgian detached houses and individual modern builds, often using vernacular stone.
