Alveston is a small village in rural South Gloucestershire, a mile or so south of Thornbury and about ten miles north of Bristol. It’s has easy access to Bristol via the M5 motorway (J16) and Gloucester Road North (A38). Aztec West Industrial Park is also close by – see Bradley Stoke and Almondsbury.
Alveston has two hotels, a variety of small shops, several parks and two churches. This pretty village is also the gateway to the first Severn Bridge from the A38 and Thornbury.
