Westbury-on-Trym really is a village, with everything you might expect. Part of Bristol's north west suburbs, it's a short distance from The Downs, and neighbours Stoke Bishop, Henleaze and Westbury Park.
The heart of the village is a conservation area. There are many beautiful period buildings tucked away on tiny streets. Most residential property is Victorian or 1930s, and there is a wide selection of sizes, from two-bedroom cottages to large villas.
There is a large selection of shops, banks, cafes and restaurants, and lovely family-friendly local pubs.
It's four miles from the city centre with frequent public transport. Falcondale Road (A4018 ) takes you to the M5 (passing Cribbs Causeway shopping centre). The nearest railway station is at Sea Mills, with trains to Temple Meads.
