Lockleaze is a residential area in the northern suburbs of the city. It's separated from Horfield by the main Bristol-South Wales railway line.

There are railway stations to the north and south of Lockleaze, as well as plenty of buses. The M32 runs just outside its eastern edge, so there's easy access to the motorway.

An ideal place to live if you work at the Ministry of Defence or Southmead Hospital. Gloucester Road is not too far off with its abundant choice of places to eat, drink or do a spot of shopping. Bristol Rovers, the Memorial Stadium is within walking distance.
