families
BS6/BS8 is an ideal family area with a wealth of schools to choose from and of course 400 acres of public land in the shape of the Durdham Downs, running from Henleaze all the way over to Clifton Suspension Bridge. A short walk over Clifton Suspension Bridge will see you stood at the gates of Ashton Court with access to the grounds available all year round. A very popular location especially for the annual ballon fiesta that is held here.
transport
The area is well served with Transport links with easy access to the M5 via the A4 Portway, reasonable access to the M4 via the M32 and easy access to the south via the A38 and A370 to Somerset and the Mendips
school
Around Clifton there are the majority of Bristol’s private schools covering all age groups from QEH just off the Clifton Triangle to St Ursula’s on the edge of the Downs. For primary schools in our area there is St Johns school near the top of Whiteladies Road, Westbury Park Primary just off Coldharbour Road And Hotwells Primary School just above Dowry Square to name but a few. For Secondary schools there is the choice of the new Redland Green High School which is very popular and also Cotham Grammar School which has had the benefit of an extensive renovation and extension programme recently.
